1 Overview

As one of the electronic functional materials, it is widely used in the manufacture of electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, electronic instruments, etc.; the manufacture of consumer or medical equipment such as automobiles, household appliances, and nuclear magnetic resonance; information equipment such as mobile phones, computers, and network equipment, and aircraft. , aerospace equipment such as rockets and satellites. Due to its unique good performance and wide range of applications, the market demand is huge. Since the 1940s, especially in the past 10 years, the production of ferrite magnets has developed extremely rapidly, and the output of magnetic materials has continued to increase. At present, the output of AlNiCo magnets has reached 7 840 t, the output of ferrite permanent magnets has reached 676 000 t, the output of rare earth zirconia magnets has reached 14 400 t, and the output of soft ferrite has reached 431 000 t. .
2 Current Status and Development Strategy of China's Magnetic Materials Industry
Since the reform and opening up 30 years ago, China's national economy has continued to develop rapidly, its comprehensive national strength has increased remarkably, and the market for the use of magnetic materials has continued to expand. Some famous magnetic materials companies in the world, such as Japan's TDK, FDK, EPSON, Hitachi Metals, Sumitomo Special, etc., Korea's Pear Tree, Sanhe, Europe's PHILIPS, Germany's VAC, EPCOS, USA's ARNORD, MAGNEQUENCH, Optimistic about China's market, they have transferred their industries to China, and correspondingly reduced their domestic production scale. For example, Japan's soft ferrite dropped from 44,096 t in 1997 to the current 11,708 t, cast magnets dropped from 1073 to 519 t, and ferrite permanent magnets fell from 49,195 t to 38,798 t. It began to decline to only 1 000 t in 2000. The number of ferrite permanent magnets in the United States has decreased from 11 in 1995 to 5 now, and the number of rare earth permanent magnets has decreased from 7 in 1995 to 3 now.
With the transfer of magnetic material production from the world to China, it has not only made China a world's production base for magnetic materials, but also accelerated the construction of various types of magnet parts in China, which greatly enhanced the overall strength of China's magnetic materials industry.
(1) Status and gaps of China's magnetic materials industry
The transfer of the world's magnetic materials industry center has made China's magnetic materials industry face a rare opportunity for development. Especially since the beginning of the 21st century, the annual growth rate of the magnetic materials industry in China has exceeded 20%. According to preliminary statistics, in 2003, the annual sales revenue of China's magnetic materials exceeded RMB 15 billion, reaching RMB 16.5 billion and exporting USD 400 million. Among them, the output of soft magnetic materials is 98 800 t, the sales revenue is 6.657 billion yuan; the output of permanent magnet ferrite is 190 000 t, the sales revenue is 5.266 billion yuan; the rare earth permanent magnet reaches 9 440 tons, and the sales revenue is 4.173 billion yuan. Cast magnets produced 3,000 tons and sales revenue reached 470 million yuan.
In 2010, the global share of China's various types of magnets continued to increase and ranked first in the world.
